The “ELITE Series” Sanders are an upgraded “PRO Series” Sander with many new options that will help you speed up your production and quality with a better price point.

Here is a list of the upgraded options now available on the QuickWood Systems “ELITE Series” 1100-1400 Sanders:

1. Operator choice of right or left turning spindles for quick grit change going from white wood sanding to sealer sanding without changing the sanding heads. Just change the direction of the spindles and the different grit will be ready to sand.

2. 99 Programmable pre sets with the optional 12” touch screen controller for easy operation. Belt speed, Carousel speed and Spindle speed are all controlled with the pro logic controller.

3. Brand New Vacuum hold down system will create 50% more vacuum hold than the original “PRO Series” Sanders.

4. Lighted Sanding area for better viewing of the sanding process.

5. 40/60 Split Vacuum Table as an option for optimizing the vacuum on small hard to hold parts.

6. Hold-Down Pressure Brush as an option for small parts and face frames with no vacuum surface are for hold down.

7. In-feed and Out-feed Rollers for hold down in finishing lines for frames and other long parts.

Elite 1100

Designed for finish sanding and sealer sanding/de-nibbing of three dimensional work-pieces, or items with profiles. Raised panel and flat doors, drawer fronts and moldings, hardwood or MDF.

The machine is equipped with 1.5 hp main motor, which drives the rotating carousel. Rotation speed is variable in the range of 4-28 rpm. Placed on the carousel are 4 stationary gear heads with 2 spindles each, for a total of 8 sanding heads.
The spindles are driven by four (4) 2 hp motors. 4 turn to the right, and the remaining 4 turn to the left. Spindle speeds are adjustable in the range of 200-1200 rpm, by means of a frequency inverter.

A 2 hp conveyor drive is adjustable in the range of 6-46 fpm.

Finally, a 1 hp motor controls the height adjustment of the sanding heads.

All speeds are adjusted and indicated digitally on the control panel.

The control panel is a free standing unit with cable connections in front of the sander offering the operator easy access and visibility to the panel from different working positions.

The machine is also equipped with our latest "quick change" spindles. This allows the operator to change from one sanding tool to another in a matter of minutes.

This feature proves highly efficient when abrasive changes are required quickly, on short notice.

The Sander requires five connections to dust collection each 6.5" in diameter. We recommend a minimum collection effort of 3500 CFM.

Pro 1100


The RO model is an automatic rotating finishing sander for finishing and sealer sanding of kitchen cabinet doors, entry doors, windows and other three dimensional work pieces.

The unique design of the sander with counter rotating dual head and oscillating Quick Discs makes it possible to completely remove all loose fibers on the workpiece surface and in the profile. The Quick Discs are often assembled with Nylon brushes. This combination gives the QuickDiscs an amount of pressure to make a very uniform and smooth finish sanding and sealer sanding.

The machine is available in 3 different widths 800mm, 1100mm and 1400mm and 3 different belt types. A standard belt for large items as entry way or interior doors, windows or flat parts. A split conveyor belt for wood shutters, blinds or windows and a vacuum belt for small parts like drawer fronts, cabinet doors, plaques and trophies.

The biggest customer group for the QuickWood Pro sander is the Cabinet door manufacturers. They use the machine for braking the sharp edges, cleaning the profile and given the door a uniform final sanding before the finishing process.

The Ro machine is an early generation QuickWood machine without all the smart things the new Pro machine comes with but it is more economical.

We also have alot of customers in the RTF door business(foil doors), they use the machines to clean the profile and the door before going to foil. The machine is also used to break the four sharp outside corners so it doesn't go though the membrane when pressed.

The Furniture manufactures are also getting into the automation sanding. They are using the machines for the same things as the cabinet manufactures, but have also found special applications for the machine. Chair seats often need a very round edge and a smooth seat in the wood stage, here the QuickWood machine will make the same round edge every time.

Furniture parts before assembly, the process is much faster and more uniform that by hand sanding. The quality of the final finish is also much better if the QuickWood is used in the raw-wood.
